Sorry So Late



If anyone actually reads this blog, I apologize for the long delay in posting.  Frankly, I didn’t have much to say after Republicans nominated Romney to run against Obama.  That pretty much wrapped up Obama’s re-election.  They may as well have put a bow on it for him at the RNC by snubbing the Ron Paul supporters. 

At any rate, I have a new blog post written.  Believe it or not a try to do a little minor editing.  I’ll have it up either today or tomorrow.

Conspiracy Theory

Ok, I’m trying really hard not to become some kind of conspiracy nut.  I’ve always been skeptical of conspiracy theories.  Almost all of them require a very complicated and vast cover up.  A cover up on that scale would require a competence far beyond the capability of those reported to be behind the conspiracy.  But reading the news these days I have found myself contemplating a different kind of conspiracy.  One that doesn’t require a cover up, but only requires misdirection.  Misdirection is easy.  By nature people look away from that which they do not want to see.  (I’m sounding like a nutter already). An open letter to my would be car theif

Dear Dumbass who tried to rob me last night, When choosing a car to steal from, perhaps you should reconsider the 13 year old Ford Piece of Shit.   The worst looking car on the street is probably unlocked for a reason.   I can only imagine your disappointment at finding my $2 ear buds in the armrest.   I’m guessing you decided my ear wax wasn’t worth the risk since you left them on my passenger seat?   My multi-tool from my cup holder was left there too.   Which is surprising because it has a little knife, some pliers and a screwdriver all in one little tool!!   And it was only $1 at the parts store!!    I also noticed you left all my CD’s in my CD holder too.   Was it because they were all burned copies of my originals, because 2 of them were ‘Lord of the Rings’ soundtracks, or because 1 was a Lennox operating system and 1 was the complete works of Leisure Suit Larry?   Never mind, you’re too stupid to know what those things...

Delegate Math

 Mitt Romney’s campaign, and just about everyone in the media, has been repeating that “Delegate Math” makes their guy the inevitable candidate.   I respectfully disagree.   Currently the delegate count looks like this: Romney 429 55% Santorum 169 22% Gingrich 118 15% Paul 67 9% At a glance that looks pretty rough for the No-Romney candidates.   But here’s the trick.   What happens if someone drops out?   The person they endorse will get their delegates.   Romney has 55%.   So, if this trend continues, he will get the nomination.   However, if Republicans can think with their own minds, instead of just doing what the people on TV keep saying they should do, they can still avoid an Obama re-election.   And I FIRMLY believe that running “Flip-Mitt” or “Sanitarium” against Obama will result in a victory by default fo...
